shit you guys had a busy night didn't you. if we're gonna do this bed of roses solo then i have a fantastic backing track to it. if you want i can send you all the solo section through an email. just p.m with your address. suppose i'll have to get my neck pickup wired in properly hey. i've got loads of BJ backing tracks so i may be able to help in the future aswell.

i've nailed most of the solo and just working on a few personal touches.

i could even have this recorded before i go busking depending on how lazy or productive i'm feeling :-)

as i said i dunno how to put the backing track down but ill get my bro to lay down some drums or whatnot.

you not got a recorder then? i tried using a comp for recording but it was more trouble than it was worth.

yeah ive got an akai dps12i digital 12 track but i have absolutely no clue how to get stuff from there onto here.

no it's not DAT.

ive never even used a DAT with home recording im just not really sure how to go from the recorder to my laptop.

ill sort something out cos ive totally nailed the solo now.

ive been laying down some demo's for a club we're trying to get a residency in but still no clue how to get them onto my laptop.

my bro has some theories n im sure my dad will suss something out so if anyone is interested in that ill get them up when i get back from busking too.

yeah post all you can. i think putfile would be the best bet too. i'll probably get chance on the weekend to do it.

does your recorder not have a cd burner or anything like that?

no i got it shortly before stuff like the boss br8 etc... hit with the built in burners.

im going to ask around some recording forums to see what my options are. i reckon i could get some sort of external cd burner for it.
that would be even easier actually.

yeah a few of the early zooms had external burners aswell. akai usually have specific forums for each model so that might be your best place to start.

yeah im having a little scower around just now but my dad and bro reckon they've sussed out how to get it on here.

to be honest i'd rather get the external burner so you go straight to cd then can just fire the track onto my i-tunes.

that's the way i'd like to do it. i just bought a boss multitrack and it uses a memory card so i have to put it to computer then burn from that or turn into mp3's etc.

well here you go people, here's my offering. it's done on my gold strat through my pod xt and boss sd-1. i couldn't be arsed to wire in the neck pickup so it's all with the humbucker. i'd like to know what you think.

the endin was shit cos i didnt know how much space i hadd left on my phone i might do a better on in a min

not been able to play proper since thursday night, i hit my hand on the radiator lol and it rags after 10 mins of playin.

i didnt use the jackson cos the low E is broke and the LP was already plugged in. plus i got the tone nailed on the LP

ill do another 1 soon with a better endin i hit a few bum notes through rushin

well done on figuring it out. i can never be arsed to do that. the last one i attempted to figure out was i'd die for you and it took forever. suppose it's worth it in the end though. don't wanna sound patronising here but in the bends just after the fast run, the note you're playing on the 17th fret is supposed to be a bend up from the 15th (it kills my fingers, suppose it's time for new strings). obviously it's upto you if you wanna follow the solo religiously. just thought i'd offer some advice.

you should get yourself a little multi track recorder. you get them for next to nothing nowadays. especially if it's just records on tape.

well i would but theres really no point cos all the song wiritin and recordin is either done live at duffs or in the studio.
