I thought God gave us free will?? Therefore it is his will that I use my will to choose not to have a child.

Hmmmm... well, as I have an Irish mother who was taught by nuns, I think I have a pretty good idea of what strict church doctrine entails. The one thing she was adament on was that we (me and my sister) were not taught by nuns and were able to choose one way or the other what we believe.

You mean speak to someone who is religious that they may manage to convince/trick me into believing it all again? :rolleyes: God is a creation of man, not vice versa. If I go into my garden and dig up an old book that says that the christian bible is all wrong and this is the real bible, would you believe it? If it said that the popular bible is a cover-up and a trick and that to really get into heaven you had to kill someone, would you believe it? I doubt it, but it'd be no less credible than the popular bible is.

again for the last time im only defending treaching and not preaching!! im only 19 for feck sake!!! dnt know it all and my defense of the chruch may not be right!! u shuld try some religious site if u want to argue properly about god and the ways of the world!!

i go to mass each sunday and thats about as much with religion i have each week!! lol i just defend it not preach it!
