I wonder if there is any bootleg, recording or anything from Bremen, Weserstadion 2003. I don't care if it's only audio or something I wanna hear it.
If anyone has it can they upload it on youtube?

Ostend 2000 also maybe.

Good news is that I had audios of both those shows, so they are definitiely in circulation. Bad news is that I no longer have them, but I'm sure someone will be able to hook you up...

There's stuff from both shows on YouTube, even about 7 songs from Bremen 2003 and two from Ostend 2000.

18 years ago today - the last show at the old Wembley Stadium. How I wish the Crush DVD had been recorded at one of these shows instead of Zurich.

True. I remember the Bremen show from 2000 where Jon pretty much nailed Bed Of Roses and These Days. The Crush Tour DVD could've been a lot better if they decided to do it there instead of Zurich since ,in my opinion, Zurich was below their average for live shows back then.

Here's Jon during his so-called "shot voice" period in 2006:

https://youtu.be/o_tN4kJc8-M

Isn't it ironic that back then many of you were complaining about how much he was struggling vocally, and nowadays pretty much all of us would probably shit our pants if he sounded as good as at that time again... he's nailing stuff he struggles hard on nowadays like Bad Name, BTBMB, IML, HAND, Medicine, Prayer, BOB and ITA like nothing at all, and notice how he's not having a death grip with the mic stand during them, either! If only Blaze and Roses had been the regular versions instead of those lame acoustic ones - Jon definitely could've pulled them off back then (hell, if he still manages to sound OK-ish on BOR even now that his voice is about 75% gone, he wouldn't have had any problems with it back in '06).

EDIT: Holy shit, those long, high "ooh's" near the end of Bells Of Freedom... that's range for you.

EDIT 2: Here's a G-R-E-A-T version of These Days from Sapporo '06:

https://youtu.be/sxmN5ljD82g

Jon actually brings back his 90's voice and manages to belt out the last high "Ain't nobody left but us..." like way back then...

Goddammit, how things have changed. I'm feeling very sad now.

Jon could definitely have done for example BOR during HAND era.

I don't consider Jon's voice to be shot 2005/6. A bit of possible struggling doesn't mean it's shot.
Singing with twang or something doesn't make it automatically shot..

Shot means your too hoarse, scratchy or something having actual problems, etc.
I noticed some small problems in 2003 though.

Due to overuse Jon turned into more of a baritenor or baritone nowadays that often still sings tenor songs which will probably strain a lower voice type a bit more than usual. Definitely aging too. Overuse of voice will also age voice, his smoking, etc. All of those can lead to lowered range, loss of head voice (falsetto usually after), etc.

It's all become so predictable around here...
