Anyone knows the story behind this show on June 30, 2007 in Tokyo?
Always found it very, very weird why The Distance showed up at this show? It's the only time it has been played after the Bounce Tour and it shows up at a one off show in Tokyo in 2007? Also a quite weird set list with no Prayer and Bad Name and opening with I Want You To Want Me. I have always been curious about this show since I got the bootleg back then. Set list 1. I Want You To Want Me 2. Who Says You Can't Go Home 3. Lost Highway' 4. Whole Lot Of Leaving 5. It's My Life 6. (You Want To) Make A Memory 7. The Distance 8. I Love This Town 9. We've Got It Going On 10. Bad Medicine ~ Shout --- 11. Wanted Dead Or Alive |
I have it too and it looks just like yours. I have no additional information except that maybe The Distance was popular or did well in Japan? My bootleg ends with Hallelujah but the info says that was from Hollywood on May 2, 2007.

The Distance was in, and don't quote me on this, a very popular Japanese beer commercial around that time. Lemme see if I have any more info.
EDIT: "BON JOVI The Distance (2002 Japanese only 3-track CD single includes Single Edit, Everyday [Demo] and Joey [Demo]. Unique band picture sleeve plus obi-strip advertising the famous Asahi 'Dry' beer mini advert - this track was used in the TV advert in Japan and hence not released as a single anywhere else! UICL-5013)." |
