You Give Love A Bad Name from MTV's One Night Stand in Japan 1986:

Probably one of the earliest performances, certainly the earliest Pro Shot of it. Jon actually sings the verses in the wrong order :D

This show had such a fantastic crowd. It's easily one of the best stadium concerts I've been to. That rather dull main set was saved by Jon who came on to prove something. Ignoring Richie for most of the night apart from the usual spiel and Richie being ****ed up could've turned this into a cluster**** but instead we got this show. Jon never showed that same attitude again on that tour and Richie only got worse with every show. Even the supposedly great shows in 2006 weren't as good as this one. I've seen loads of shows after this one but only few come close to what Dusseldorf 2006 was like. :)

Really? We are using Joey as a benchmark on whether the show was great or not? What's next, judging the THINFS tour show on whether they played Amen? :D

At least that would be a realistic approach to the tour! :D

I was too much of a fan newbie to notice that in Hessisch Lichtenau back then, but that would certainly explain why Jon was THAT moody throughout the tour. He probably was getting sick of having to make up for Richie's flaws every show. I wonder if the other band member feel the same way nowadays...
