Definitely the best STBI since 1996 - not even Sydney 2010 was this powerful. Just listen to the way Jon screams out the final "we need somethiiiiiiiiiiiing to believe in..."; that's the '95 JBJ right there.

Yeah I think the way he sang it there - with so much rasp - is the closest he ever sounded to how he did it on the record. :)

I'm not that impressed with that performance to be honest. In Nagoya he was properly hitting the high notes and added rasp because he wanted to, the Osaka one to me sounds rather like his voice was a bit shot and he was really straining to get to those notes (didn't really hit them either).
But everyone's taste is different. [emoji6]
