It's not necessarily bad for the average Joe, but for a big rock star, it is. He went from looking like your cool uncle in the early 2010s, to looking like a Vietnam war survivor.

In my personal opinion, between 2010-19/20 Jon went from looking like a naturally youthful rock star to looking like Bill Clinton with a magpie's nest on his head.

Looking your age isn't a bad thing, but with his current hair Jon looks about ten years older than he is, while as lately as in 2013 he could easily have passed for a guy in his late 30's to early 40's.
