Of course it is. That guy looked like a 30-year old rock star by the time HAND was released. Now he looks like my 80-year old uncle. Aging 50 years in 15 is some kind of achievement, I gotta give him that.

I completely agree. The strange thing is that he wants to look so. He is still training and with blond hair and better clothes he would look really good I think.
Richie got it together to age 10 years between 2012 and 2014 but still looks really good for 60 when you consider his lifestyle.
Jon could look much better but chooses to look like an 80 year old grandpa.

I think the grey look is part of his marketing today.

He wants to be perceived as a legend who's been around for so long, yet still selling out arenas. Yes, his new songs aren't successful, so now he shifted into making music about great causes (Unbroken) or "what's going on in the world" (the Bon Jovi 2020 album title), plus he's already "had more hits than the Sopranos". And yes, he can't sing anymore, but "nobody sounds in their 50s the way they did in their 20s, right?" He doesn't need to be great or successful anymore - he's a hall of famer who's still a fighter (though not a boxer by trade). And look how gracefully he's ageing (minus the hairplugs that almost nobody notices) - "he is like a fine wine, am I right ladies?" The current look supports that image.

Back in 2005, he was still chasing "relevance" and looks were very important in that department. He was basically trying to be Adam Levine of 2005; even though Adam Levine was already around in 2005, but you get the point.

I think Jon shifted his passions from music to political / high profile figures.

He is taken more serious amongst them with that look verses being a pretty boy rock star.

I get what he wants to be looked at. But nobody sees him that way. Nobody cares about his political opinions and nobody buys an album because Jon Bon Jovi tells us how the world should be. For most people he will be the guy from the 80s and they go to the concert to hear Livin on a Prayer and are not interested in everything past Crush and that bothers him massively.
To me he only seems comfortable when he can talk about politics and can show what he is doing for the world.

The last ever song to be performed at the old Wembley stadium since demolition began the day after Bon Jovi had wrapped up their 2-night stint on the Crush tour there.
Jon finishes the song reminiscent to the '95 shows by walking off stage and actually even adding some ad-libs while doing that.

I think this song Do What You Can makes him look older lol, I mean HIS VOICE sounds terrible, and of course the glasses

Was at this gig.
Was a great gig but I can’t stand this song so was disappointed with the ending.

As if it were a surprise that his voice sounds terrible. It's done so constantly since mid-2015 (not talking about the high register, which got f*cked in mid-2013 already, but his voice in general).
