It pains me to watch (and listen) to some of the more recent performances of Prayer. There used to be such emotion and heart when they performed it. Now, they look like old men and sound like old women.

little help was really cool, all the guys harmonizing and what not.

No, in Cincinatti 87 one his voice sounds raspy during the chorus as well, though still sounds pretty good.

In the one shown there it is shredded then it goes to really quite good for the chorus. I think they did it because his voice was so shredded. Remember the amount of gigs they did at that time.. often it was 5 plus nights at one venue. You know Jon would of hated to of done that. But what else could he do with his voice shot? The show must go on and on and on and on as was the case back then.

Yeah, the snippet sounds good. That version from i think Buffalo 93, thats up on youtube seems to beat the shit out of this one though, allthough a comparison is hard to make based on that short snippet.

I might as well post it here too. Richie sounds really good (as expected).
