It just sounds weird, I know Richie moves fast on the guitar but you wouldnt be playing that range of notes at once. Maybe i'm going mad, just wanted people's opinions

I don't hear what you're hearing, obviously. It seems fine to me. He certainly wouldn't be using an octave pedal on something like this, either.

I don't think he sounds rusty at all. If the solo had been 30seconds longer, nobody would have commented otherwise.

Fooookin' brilliant. Jon seriously nailed it. I'm very (very) surprised at how amazing this sounds. Well done boys!

Holy Cow! This must be some of the best Jovi news post 2000 :)
I think only Dry County in Dusseldrof (wasn't it?) could challenge Always :)
I'm, like you, are impressed (maybe Shania Twain would be too lol). Anyway, the first clip showed us Richie taking a D-chords in the begining of the bridge. Unless they detune a whole step, it's actually even more impressive if the does it half a note below original, which mean like they did in 1995.

Cheers for the best band in the world!

This has to be the best one so far. Good sound and good picture. Always from Des Moines:
