That's a horrendous looking guitar and, tone wise, it's worse than any of his '59 Les Pauls. He's definitely sacrificed tone in the last few years for 'new', 'cool' guitars. Up until 2003, he was playing Strats and Les Pauls almost exclusively, then we had Andersons, then Floyd Rose and then custom guitars Lumpy made. Get back to the Strats and a more organic sound, that Lumpy guitar that was mass-produced by ESP sounds terrible, particularly on anything remotely bluesey.
