WOW! You sometimes forget what an incredible set of lungs that guy had back in the day...So full and strong!

^^THe general public is still under the impression that Bon Jovi comes with A-grade rock vocals. When they see the band performing live that goes out of the window. It's a shame Jon can't pull his weight live anymore because in every other way Bon Jovi is a great live band.

Did you miss the Lost highway tour? plenty of strong vocals on that tour.

During the European leg of the LH tour he sounded great and in Frankfurt songs like Blood Money, KTF, Damned and These Days sounded really brilliant...there he showed everyone how it's done! I was having goosebumps all the time!

I hope he will reach backt to that form when they start proper touring again. Most of the time he sounds flat during those promo show mainly because he is too lazy to get in a good shape for such one-off gigs.

Only reason we say that is because our benchmarks for him have been lowered by his post 2000 sub par performances. Yes compared to recent years it was better. But if you compared it objectively to his 90s voice it's still very thin and whiny. You can no longer call him a leading rock vocalist, while in the early to mid 90s he was (arguably) the world's best.

Anyway I do appreciate the improvement compared to recent years, that's for sure; credit to him for that.

Richie and Ava at some premiere. I do hope she doesn't turn into another Miley Cyrus.
