From the videos i've seen, from the show on the 8th the boys are sounding great. Jons voice sounds much better, and it seems that hes hitting the higher notes with much more comfort. Bed of roses in particular he really sounds amazing. Don't no if it was from quitting smoking, or from that chicken killing voodoo i heard he was doing awhile ago, but what ever it is he should keep it up!

I agree. I've been a big pessimist when it comes to his voice, but he sounds much clearer and less like he's about to die. I hope he realizes the fans notice it and appreciate it and keeps it up. There's a much warmer tone to his voice and it's much more pleasing to listen to.

Yeah true. Notice the line "hotel bar hangover whisky ran DRY". Jon has not sung this line so high since the 90s.
