Camstudio - records whatever is on your screen and coming from speakers into avi format, it's gd quality and easy to use. Problem is, it was a huge file so I converted to flash to upload on youtube.

I wonder why they didn't let David do his keyboard intro or heart beat loop thing? It adds a lot to the atmosphere of the song.

I think it's because the song was done spontaniously and it was Jon's decision to play it, so he started his song all by himself and the rest of the band just followed him afterwords, so I guess that is why there was no intro by David.

Thanks for the info - so you use something similar to capture this stuff (as I do) rather than ripping it.

I wish that someone had figured out how to rip the original file. Up until this stuff I have always been able to find a hidden URL - but not now :(

I tried to find the hidden URL too but the list was huge and I had no success. They must have found a way of stopping people ripping the vid.

I could record it again and get close to the original quality, I didn't before because I thought the file would be too big but it turns out that the upload limit on youtube has been raised to 2gb so it should work.

Might record it in higher quality and reupload it tommorow...

Rehearsed it when? Backstage during the encore break? This was a SPONTANIOUS moment and the song was played because of a sign held up. Isn't this what everybody has been wanting from the band for ages instead of the usual by-the-numbers set lists? And this was certainly NOT a butcher job. IMO this was a major stand out moment in the tour so far (for good reasons) and here we are still talking about it a few months later. How many other moments do we have like this from the tour so far?

Jesus, they truly can't win. Apart from a charity performance by Jon a few years ago, it hasn't been done since 2000. You could tell they were feeling around in the dark and really playing as they go, I dug it.
