What's just as noteworthy as the greatness of the performance is the tension between Jon and Richie. He's obviously genuinely pissed off at been situated behind Jon. It's his song, they're supposed to do an intimate acoustic rendition as equals, and Jon is at the spot light. He's joking about it (cause you don't vent that shit in front of people who are there to enjoy the show), but you can tell he's covering his anger.
