Really? I like the whole show as an overall, but agree, the backing vocals take away more than what they give, IMO. But I love this version, I think I like it more than the ones of the late '90s.

Same here. It just seems more close to the album version.

Well, the high notes on the chorus aren't on the album version, but still I love it. It gaves the song a new life.

I have the fanclub disc and I have a few comments. That sounds like a bad rip in a few places. They (Obie?) edited the shit out of the music and then applied so much loudness there are no dynamics. It has a very harsh sound.

My husband and I recorded the show and got an excellent audience recording that (in my opinion) sounds far better. More importantly, it makes Jon sound far better.

The guitar sounds a little different with Phil X and Bobby. You can even hear Bobby this time! I think I like it more this way.

Actually they are, if you listen closely behind the main vocals there is another higher pitched vocal giving more melody to the song. I've always loved that about the album, there's so many things hidden under the songs, I bet a remastering could breath new life into the album :)....
