I agree....

2 points:

1. This is a nice live rendition and it just shows how the wrong production could completely change ones view of a song. If they could have captured this same sound in the studio, it might have gotten a better reception from inception.

2. As time goes on, you'll start to find hidden gems that initially went unnoticed. I think as fans you're always comparing everything new to the past, when it first come out. Now that LH is 7 years old and Bon Jovi has changed so much, you look back at it, compare it to today, and realize that it's not as bad as you once initially thought.

In ten years when Bon Jovi is playing acoustic shows with no vocal range, we'll look back at albums like WAN and TC and wish we could go back to that.

Totally agree. It's my favorite song from LH. Got to see it at this show and in Vancouver when they played the full LH record again. :)

Bed of Roses in 1991?

Jons peak was in 90 / 91. As a writer, vocalist, musician, producer, he was on top of it all. Maybe that grey period got it out of him.
