Is the version from 1988 on youtube? Cause i can't seem to find it.

Not that I'm aware of and a quick search also didn't show anything, so my guess would be no :D

What an awesome track!! I really love the lyrics on this one.
Can't believe I always avoided it for like 2 years or so...Looks like so far all the bonus tracks that I've always avoided(Bitter Wine,Save A Prayer,All I Want Is Everything etc) turned out to be great songs.

Should have been on the official album. It was a bonus track on the 'Have A Nice Day' album I bought. Absolutely brilliant song. One of the best bonus tracks and certainly one of the best post 2000 songs.

Something I can highly recommend if you have some spare time left:

I recently found this decent VHS of the show, transferred it about 2 weeks ago and just realized it's already on YT. It's the band's show from Brussels 1993.
It is nothing but breathtaking! The energy throughout the set might've been the highest I've ever seen from the band. Also with regards to how manages to push his vocals for that long - it's insane, there's no other word for it.

Now THIS is a rock show. I always thought Milton Keynes was one of the best on this tour, but this is up there. Love these performances of I Believe and Wild In The Streets. Energy is off the charts. Jon is a maniac. The backing vocals from the crowd are unbelievable too. Wow.

Someday I'll Be Saturday Night:

Taken from Munich 2001 - the legendary concert where a thunderstorm erupted while the band was playing Something To Believe In and then went into an insane encore run. This song was done before that happened, but it's an amazing rendition nonetheless - almost 11 minutes with a lot of great improvisations :)

Just found this "medley" of videos from Munich 2013:

The best I've seen them (Jon in particular) on that tour. Almost as good as 2011, and much better than when I saw them in Berlin. If he can get his voice back into that shape, I'm all for another tour :-)

Oh yeah I remember that night very vividly. I had zero expectations with the background of Richie having bailed out before and basically just went to see some friends I rarely get to meet otherwise. The first few songs were bland and I didn't like it at all and after Lost Highway there was close to ZERO crowd response when Jon asked the audience if they were "with him".
The way he then turned into the "I'm-gonna-win-each-one-of-you-over" rockstar instead of our well-feared, moody Jon truly made an impression on me. He worked like a maniac on stage that night, giving 130% and by the end of the concert he had the audience eating out of his hand. They played for 190 minutes and even thought the setlist was quite bland it was the best of the last 3 Munich shows!
I personally preferred Cologne, but that may have been due to the excellent song selection :)
