Almost 8 years have passed since this magic moment happened - time surely flies. For me this was the essential moment of the last decade and I don't know how many times I went back to watch this performance since 2007.

Everyday is much better in that version - it actually has a melody:

Sylvia's Mother - great cover, but also great song on its own:

Also the performance of Bad Name (which I quite like in that bluesy version) pisses all over what they did at the unplugged show. Besides that it still isn't my cup of tea though, but these are immensely enjoyable.

This just brings back memories. The main thing I hated about this concert - and I was there at The Borgata - was the fact the both "new songs" had been dropped. But once Jon had done his rant - I got it. In the long run I am glad he re-did Last Man Standing - but Thief of Hearts never went anywhere.

Sylvia's Mother was an old song that I remembered from my long ago days and I had always loved it. I was delighted to hear it again - and done very well too.

My brother was at this show and this was the last show he seen as he really didn't enjoy it. This song was the highlight for him, though.

I remember being gutted that I couldn't go to this show and I really wanted to hear 'Any Other Day' as it was my favorite song from the album and he phoned me when it was on. I sat on the stairs and was blown away by the solo and can still remember hearing Jon say 'Look who just got back!'

Amazing performance. Love how Jon (and the rest) can't take their eyes off Richie and then look at each other. Jon looks genuinely blown away.

Sure, we had some great live moments in 2000s and they were still very good for most of that time, but it's a shame that the public perception of Bon Jovi is not one that takes into account the KTF tour, whereas for example U2 get the full credit for being incredible during The Joshua Tree tour.

One of the best concerts by any artist or band. It makes the 1995-1996 Bon Jovi look like shit in comparison.

It's old but anyway. Bob Rock sad it all about that period...they were the best live band!

What a voice this guy used to have...I know this is probably the lamest post ever but I was just watching some youtube videos while my father was listening to the radio in the kitchen and I heard them playing a song that I didn't recognize at first, because of the loud volume from the yt video. So I got out of my room to go and listen to the song because I've heard a very strong voice and I thought ''I gotta find out who this guys is'' and as soon as I left the room it hit me. It was Bed of Roses :D.

Anyway I haven't listened to anything pre Crush for 2 weeks or something like that, so I guess that this has alot to do with my amezement regarding Jon's voice.

I don't think this post is one bit lame. Whenever I watch/hear something like this I immediately remember why I became such a devoted fan all those years ago. They really were such an amazing band once.

IMO the best shows from the KTF tour and from their entire career, came from April-May 1993. The whole European leg from 1993 was freaking amazing...I mean their energy was just through the roof. I have no ideea how they managed to play like that during those 2 months, it was like they were playing as if their lifes were at steak every freaking night.

This is exactly what I am watching right now. I wish the band could play like that on the next tour.
