Did you search for Happy Now?I can't find it. Oh by the way for Boston are you staying in Boston or near the stadium.

I haven't looked for Happy Now yet.

And I have no idea what I'm doing for that Foxborough show yet.

I'm trying to figure it out myself. Maybe at some point we can figure it out together.LOL. I hope you enjoy your shows and travel safe.

Spidey5150 03-15-2010 03:11 AM

"Bullet" live = way too slow...

So - the times for the live performance + studio track both clock 3:50 - it just feels like it's dragging live...

None of us do :( But we might as well pool resources and travel together. Terri do you have any time after the show to stay in Boston for a day or two?

We were thinking that since we would be so close we might want to hang out in the city for a day (or two depending on work schedules).

Richie is on fire in this tour!

In the new stuff he uses a lot of wah wah, talk box, slides solos...all thing that were not used in Lost Highway.
And Tico is kickin ass too, his playing itīs full of energy.

All the new stuff sound great, Thorn and Bullet really rock

And what can I say of Only Lonely, not even the die hard fan would expect a performance like they did, 25 years later they prooved that they can still do hard rock song on stage like in the early ears.

The bj.com videos are cool, but why richieīs guitars are so low?

Bullet and Happy Now did nothing for me. I hope they stay off the set for better songs.

Butters 03-19-2010 02:41 AM

Wanted, with Kid Rock.

Don't be ridiculous, for feck sake. They invited a successful artist, from that city, on stage to sing a song with them. If you didn't like it, fine, but to say it's an all time low is beyond stupid.

You're beyond stupid, don't let the fact you're a Kid Rock fan cloud your mind. He's a trashy good for nothing joke.

Can anyone else think of a time Bon Jovi sunk to such levels to get a cheer?

I hope to God, Kid Rock doesn't show up at Meadowlands. I'm not going to bother with opening bands, but still...

Yeah, great come back.

And, for the record, I'm not a kid rock fan, at all. I didn't even much like that performance.

So coming full circle back to your initial remark, can you tell me a time when Bon Jovi have stooped lower than singing with Kid Rock?

Yes. When they wrote, recorded and performed WGIGO with Big & Rich. :bad-word:

Supersonic 03-19-2010 10:46 PM

Aloha !

Kid Rock isn't even really playing that guitar, he's just strumming away non-existing chords. And I agree, even though Kid Rock is from the city they're playing in he shouldn't be on that stage. But then again, he shouldn't have been in the documentary either.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

To quote the song - can I hear an Amen?

I agree with Terri - that was a VERY low point.

Crushgen24/88 03-19-2010 11:06 PM

Doing Wanted with Kid Rock really doesn't bother me, and I can think of A LOT of lower points for this band.
And no, I'm not a Kid Rock fan.

Name one them.

Big and Rich aren't known outside of America so I can't comment on them but they can't be as bad as Kid Rock FFS.

Crushgen24/88 03-19-2010 11:52 PM

The QVC thing is the one that pops to mind first and foremost, and I don't think they'll EVER go lower than that.
And while I don't like Kid Rock, I honestly don't see the big deal in bringing him onstage for the hometown guest spot.

TRUST ME -- you seriously under-estimate them. Their stage show is downright mortifying. Complete with a dancing midget. And no, I'm not kidding. Just ask Kathleen.

My initial remark? Eh dude, it was your remark.

And Terri, I couldn't agree with you more. I remember checking out videos of theirs after I saw them perform on stage with Bon Jovi and I've never laughed so hard. They make Sarah Palin seem dignified.

They are worse (in my opinion of course). Any act that comes out on a stage with dwarfs is beyond redemption. I don't get offended by anything - but they offended me.

They have dwarfs on stage with them? Why? I mean I assume they're not there for some practical purpose like backing singers or you wouldn't be that offended by it.

It was part of the "act" when they opened at the Prudential Center here in Jersey. Maybe I live a sheltered life but that is just not something one would see here in Jersey. They were not musicians - they were doing cartwheels, handstands etc.

So now, please tell me they get booed off stage by a fine New Jersey crowd for that.

No they didn't get booed, but practically nobody showed up early for the opening acts here in Jersey either.

Here is a page that describes some of their antics:

After reading that I went and watched a live video of Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy (stupidest song title I've ever heard, by the way) and WOW, just WOW.

I guess if people like it that's cool but oh good fcuk they are just ridiculous.

I remember now that there was talk from Jon that he was going to try and bring them over to europe to open for them during the LH tour, man I wish that had happened.

You know what, Kid Rock opened in Ireland, and I had planned to show up late after he went on but I got to the gig just as he was coming on and thought, **** it, I'll go see a couple of songs and see just how bad he is, and honest to goodness, he was great! He was a brilliant performer, he got the crowd going really well and played a great bunch of songs. I would have no problem at all if I were you guys seeing him open in Jersey. You might be pleasently surprised by him.

ticos_stick 03-20-2010 12:37 AM

Kid Rock had a Dwarf too

http://webspace.webring.com/people/u...sssidekick.jpg

And with lyrics like these:

I'll f*ck u blind bitch
I'll f*ck u blind bitch
I'll f*ck u blind till you just can't see no more
I'll f*ck u blind bitch
I'll f*ck u blind bitch
Leave you face down in a ditch

I'm still saying it's the lowest of low.

Kid is a great live act. He throws in a lot of old school rock covers on the set and he really is a great entertainer.

Was at this show myself and Kid Rock as excellent! and done a very enjoyable cover of Dift-away! always love this song...including the Jovi cover back in the 80s, early 90s!

it was one of the highlights of the show for me...then of course his song all summer long became a huge hit a few weeks later, but then was relativity unknown, he done a excellent set......... unlike razorlight who were quite brutal if im being nice!

TBoy 03-21-2010 01:17 AM

Mwahahah

Butters 03-21-2010 01:34 AM

- Welcome to Wherever You Are.

A song I have such a love-hate relationship with. I absolutely love the lyrics in the chorus and the first verse; they're brilliant, and then literally every other line in the song is so cringeworthingly bad. The music is beautiful and the backing vocals are great too but damn those lyrics butcher the song.

However, it sounds ****ing good live. I heard it in Manchester in 2006 and it was phenomenal. Would love to see it reappear during The Circle tour.
