I love it - Homebound Train is one of my all time favorites. I think it would have worked better if it had been played with more of a blues - hoedown sort of approach. A little more passion & blues would fit the song better but I like the violin playing the melody.

I love STBI acoustic. I wish they would play it more regularly.

I doubt it. They played it very regularly toward the end of the Bounce tour and Jon's voice was shot at that stage. Considering how good his voice was sounding on the HAND tour, I reckon he would be able to pull off the electric version, let alone the acoustic.

They have a whole Tribute Album which is quite nice. Homebound Train is not on it though so it was nice to hear it.

He sang it great at both shows, 12/21 and 12/22. I really was shocked it pulled that one out. It was a very cool surprise.

I think this wouldn't be appreciated that much, keeping in mind the Jon's opinion on this sort of things. Where is it from anyway? There's some Swedish text on the bottom of the screen.. when has this been broadcast?

Donīt know where itīs from. And thereīs not much you can see of the texting. But itīs nothing interesting anyway. It says:

- My wife Dorothy and this is Stephanie.

- How is it possible - - -

- The first time - - -

- Jon and Dorothy has two children.

I got this on VHS and it was a show called "Close up" or something like that... It was an hour with footage of Jon up to 99' and it was broadcast on the swedish channel TV6 seven years ago...

I got the impression that the song was performed way too slow and was somehow lacking energy. Besides, I like the song A LOT better when Richie does it, but we've had that discussion before havent we?
His voice was great in that era, you're right about that.
