Sorry, but you must be fcuking high if you say that.

Not the same. Unless some MAJOR dubbing was done, there are many vocal and guitar parts that are different. They are similar, not identical.

All of the songs from the Live From Letterman on on the BJ Vevo YT page now in pristine HD. KTF is above, yeah!

I don't want to interrupt your little argument here, but wat a performance. Jon sounds quite simply amazing, Richie and Tico kick ass in this one.

I have never enough of this one-being there didn't hurt neither- ... this is for something like that that Bon Jovi is still the best live band for me

Bleedingguitar 11-18-2010 08:16 PM

^^^^Jon really was sounding pretty good at O2 as that performance shows.

Last 2 months I feel he has really gone downhill. Maybe he needs some rest. Just speculating but maybe now that he is sick of touring he doesn't put as much effort with warm ups and practice etc...

I think I have a better idea. He started smoking again. He seems to have "recovered" the nasal voice he didn't have during the O2 shows and in the later NA dates. That's my guess.

bonjovi90 11-18-2010 09:32 PM

Jon always sounds shit when he doesn't sing / practise very much. I though he sounded pretty well during the 2 recent webcasts. Just take the South American show for comparison: how awful he sounded in Mexico during Always and how great These Days was during the last shows...he's just lazy :D

But something different...to remember this mindblowing night (and my 3rd BJ show :)):

bonjovi90 11-23-2010 01:48 PM

Surely was posted here somewhere before, "I'll Be There For You" from Charlotte 2010. The way Jon sings "wasn't there when you were down" in the higher key amazes me every time I watch this video :)

I was kind of feeling a little grumpy. Then I came across this. A ray of light. The comments are what make it so special. There's no agents looking for him. Who knew?

I'm just glad youtube wasn't around when I tried the same thing some 20+ years ago.

bonjovi90 11-23-2010 07:37 PM

With such an amazing crowd even WWBTF can be great live!!!

The thing is, as good as it sounds on that video, it was even better live. I was leaning on the barrier around the circle, the crowd around me was totally into the song and then Jon did THAT! I was on David's side that night, so I could see Richie's reaction which just added to the moment. I remember posting on here or on Facebook right after the show that I'd just witnessed the best IBTFY that I'd ever heard (and it didn't hurt that it came right after Diamond Ring either). Charlotte 2010 wasn't a long show, but it was a really good one.

I noticed he did that especially in Calgary... Was watching it and my jaw dropped.

Look at the dude in the back. Shameless, funny dancing. That might work for, um, well not this song. Good performance, anyway.

it's not just you, it's hard to find a video for that song where the sound hasn't been disabled. try searching for the ones that have most recently been uploaded, although it will be a matter of time before sound will be disabled for these as well.

Wild Is The Wind, Tokyo 2001. Great performance. Dang, I would love to have this proshot. I wish there was more proshot/soundboard stuff from the OWN Tour, but we only have the VERY FIRST SHOW (Melbourne) and the VERY LAST SHOW (Giants).

Sir_Cizzi 12-05-2010 09:11 PM

No Apologies live for the very first time!
I must say that it sounds amazing :)

Haja 12-06-2010 11:59 AM

^I really love the verses but I just can't get over the silly chorus. It does sound pretty cool live tho.

rocknation 12-07-2010 06:33 AM

Finally, a decent-looking copy of Good Guys Don't Always Wear White live at the '94 MTV movie awards. I just adore how Richie tosses his pick in the audience -- he'd KNEW he gotten the job done!

Yep, that's the peak right there.

Effortlessly tight while maintaining a raw sound.

They were all on the top of their game, except Alec who must have been nearing game over at that point.

bonjovifreak 12-08-2010 08:05 AM

I just checked it out and found this
THis is from Wembley, right? It looks pro-shot. Was this on tv in Europe?Just curiuos. TAALS is also there from the same show.
