The last 28 minutes of the Lisbon concert have been uploaded!

nrm123 08-02-2011 11:21 PM

this is probably the best performance of these days ive seen (so far) i just love richies voice no matter what song he sings. so much soul in it!

Bleeding Purist 08-03-2011 02:53 AM

Wild is the Wind and Never Say Goodbye from Zeebrugge. I wanted to upload these much sooner, but the file size and length wasn't accepted so I had to wait to upload when I got home. Easily the climax of the set for the night.

It's from Osaka on the Crush Tour. It was one of the very first concerts after their return from the late-90's break.

A video I made to the (very good) live version of Keep the Faith from the One Wild Night Live CD.

Very cool one!!!

bonjovi821 08-08-2011 01:12 AM

An interesting version of Wild In The Streets I've never heard before, with different guitar parts scattered throughout. It makes the song seem messier (especially at the end of the solo) but still a notable find.

Is this legit?

Again, cannot stress this enough....Rio 1990 KICKS BUTT! Time machine anyone? Bad name is far from my favourite song, but this gave me goosebumps from head to toe!!

Great performance, but my god, enough camera switches. It's almost unwatchable. And the sound quality isn't exactly brilliant, either.

And Alec's vocals sound like shit. There were some awesome performances of Bad Name through the Slippery, NJ, and KTF Tours, but Alec's backing vocals really spoiled them for me.

I know...they were very fond of the insane camera switching back then so it seems. But I just love the energy and crowd participation of this performance. Just brilliant.

The only part of that I'd like to see nowadays is the crowd to be honest. I'd take a Circle Tour performance of Bad Name over that any day of the week.

Pro Audio of 'Wild İs The Wind' from the 02 Arena :)

Bleedingguitar 08-13-2011 10:43 AM

I believe from Lisbon

I know most of you have seen this performance by now but this particular video is worth watching because of the audio quality. You hear the instruments clearly (particularly guitars).

completely, if you just listen to it as a live performance the more recent performances sound loads better. Okay, the later ones are maybe lacking some of the energy of the earlier ones but Jon sings better and the Band sound better in general, the band's 80s performances sometimes sound a little sloppy to me, a bit too much energy maybe?

I agree, too. I've got lots of live stuff on my iPod, but only one performance is from the 80's. I just think the Keep the Faith, These Days, Crush, and OWN tours were better musically (and sometimes vocally) than the 80's tours. But the 80's tours were still damn great.

That it would. Superb sound quality for an audience recording, very minimal screaming. :)

I was standing right next to Michael, so that was my view, too. BTW, he actually posts on here once in awhile. His Dry County and Lie To Me videos from Udine are also fabulous.

That's cool. His videos are as nice your photos! :) So let's do Dry County too:

He also captured one of my favorite moments of the tour (since I was there). I Can't Help Falling In Love With You leading into IBTFY in Milwaukee:

Man, this is amazing. I am not exactly an expert on the matter, but I don't hink I have seen Jon sing the Oh-oh-oh (not the ones at the end obviously) bit with such ease in quite a while.

Lampinen 08-26-2011 04:17 AM

Great interview with Richie in 1991 when he was supporting SITT.
