Hallelujah - Mannheim 2011 (multicam mix)

I never cared much for that song, but getting to witness it live totally changed my mind. It was breathtaking!

Thanks! I love it. I really hoped to see it live on this tour. I wasn´t so lucky.

Why having a multicam if you can't get it in sync ?

only the intro is out of sync to my eyes and ears? and that may because i jumped the gun with the playing not the timing of video. its quite difficult to sync 3 audio and 2 videos together when you dont have a clue how to do it correctly, just have to guess really if it looks and sounds the same.

Great find, thanks. Amazing performance indeed. For me this was without a doubt the best show of the whole TC/GH Tour, with best vocals by Jon in years. STBI was perfect that night, absolutely perfect. The best performance of any song on the whole tour imo. In case someone missed it, here it is again:

That truly was brilliant! However, I think it's a hard fight with I Believe from Lisbon for the best song performance of the tour. Both were great and both deserve it I guess :)

Not YT, but maybe some Italian speakers can shed some light into what they're saying. I can deduce most of the actions and what they're saying, but Jon's last line doesn't make 100% sense to me:

Still pretty funny video :D

Always from Soldier Field 2010, night 1

Really wanted to share this performance. For me, it's the best Always performance of the tour (even though we had a few great ones). Jon sounds great (I have said many times that the summer of 2010 was Jon's best vocal period since 2002) and this performance from the second verse to the very end - just pure passion. As long as he can still perform it like this, I don't need any (male or female) punks from X-Factor overexaggerating my favorite song.

I was there. I think you're always a little biased towards the shows you were at, but I thought this was fantastic. No matter what you think of the vocal performace, Jon was into it. There was no song that I wanted to hear more in the encore that night, and the band delivered. Moments like this are why I'm a fan.

I really disagree. He struggles with the vocals here, has no control over his volume, sounds nasal and flat at times and he puts on that daft cowboy accent during the some of the lines. There have been quite a few versions of Always this tour that sounded like this, I don't get why people say 2010 was Jon's best moment since 2002 while he struggled a lot less on the Lost Highway tour and was capable of pronouncing the words a lot better than what he does at Soldier Field.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

It sounded ok, i've heard worse this tour. But I have to agree with Seb here:
the performances of 2008 were better, Jon's voice sounded less worn out. He was able to hit the high notes better, I think even though Twickenham wasn't the best concert, Always sounded better than in the video posted above.

July 2010 and the South America shows were the peak of Jon's post Bounce voice IMO.

It's not totally true: i think that Jon sing much better strong songs like These days or Dry county much better during The Circle tour than LH tour.

As there isn't much going on regarding performance videos from the band (logically) - 2 days ago the German tribute Bounce celebrated their 10th anniversairy with a special show held in a huge cinema. Some very cool song versions were done:

Little Bit of Soul:

Prayer '94:

I Believe (mix of acoustic and electric version):

Last Man Standing (Box Set version):

With A Little Help From My Friends:

Two Story Town (acoustic version):

If only he could sing it like this again:

Unfortunately 30 years of smoking has made the higher notes trickier to get to. Here, in 1994, the high notes are reached effortlessly.

This band is definitely better than the Bon Jovi Experience. Its a shame that they haven't got any UK dates coming up. Has anyone ever seen them live?

Yes I saw them twice in Holland - they are awesome. The singer is absolutely one of the best singers I've ever heard.

DEFINATELY! This is also probably the best entire show I ever heard from them, magic from start to finish :) This Ain't A Love Song was also brilliant with Jon singing his heart out after the solo (in a higher key than on the record). Gotta go and see if that's on YT as well...

Indeed, its one of their most amazing shows ever. But most of it is not on YT. Lie to me from that show is indeed the best version ever, and also TAALS. The wee key change is magical!

It's called discretion.

This Ain't a Love Song is truly amazing. Probably the best peformance EVER. I adore the part where Jon and Richie does the "call & response" in the last chorus. Great bootleg :D

I always loved this cover. I'm pretty sure that I saw it on the Slippery tour (can't find the set list for Rockford, IL 03-14-87, and it was almost 25 years ago so memory is a little hazy). Drift Away:

Edit: Well, I found the set list for 07-10-87 at Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI so I know heard it that night.
