Edit: Well, I found the set list for 07-10-87 at Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI so I know heard it that night.

I prefer this version - unfortunatley only audio. You're really lucky that you heard this one live... I'd give a fortune to hear it (not from Bobby of course).

Couldn't have said it any better :D Also you had chosen some other performances of certain songs. Unfortunately you're a lot more restricted when you need video to it as well. On the other hand, it's the only album where we have video bootleg footage of every song live (LH The concert excluded).

Im not having a go at you for the sake of having a go at you (i feel i have to say this everytime.) but there are videos on Youtube with far better audio/video quality of these songs that you have chosen. Why didnt you use these?

Don't worry, I don't feel attacked by such a comment.
It was just that I decided to just take performances done on the NJ tour and then it probably mostly came down to personal taste. For some reason I just don't like the sound mix of Tokyo 88 that much, Rio had an awful mix and cut all the way along and Santiago had a great Living In Sin performance, but I always favorited Rotterdam and regarded it as the best one. Well, I guess that was it. In retrospect I might have chosen 2 or 3 sources differently, but tastes just change ;)

Don't get me wrong, it's a great idea. I'll be there for you Tokyo 91 is great quality/mix, as are a few more on there from that concert.

It's a shame that Bon Jovi did not fulfil their promise of playing albums in their entirety on the circle tour because this gives a little insight into what that maybe like. Are you going to do any more for any other albums?

Yeah it's a shame that only 6 songs of that concert in Tokyo 1990 were shown. Jon's voice was at its peak there.

I thought about doing it for SWW and These Days, but both weren't done in their entirety.

Yes it was. But, as they were the opener for Judas Priest that night, their set wasn't particularly long.

Rare video of the band playing Bed of Roses in an acoustic, piano driven version in Cardiff 1995:

There are other strange versions of Bed Of Roses from that time. I think Montreal, Camden or Long Island were places where they did it differently. I've to check. One on them was that even that Richie was there playing, David did the solo. Some others had Jon on acoustic.
And there is Bed Of Roses from Japan 1993 (not Tokyo, probably Yokohama) when Jon and David did a stripped down version, only vocals, keyboards and harmonica.

Sorry if I'm stealing you're thunder, Dominik, but I had to post this. It's Lay Your Hands, Bad Rx, and All I Want is Everything from Landgraaf 1996, and the sound appears to be soundboard.

This tour wasn't documented very well at all (except for the Yokohama broadcast, which if you didn't know was the ONLY 1996 show to NOT have All I Want is Everything ). I think it's crude, I think it was better than the 1995 tour.

It still enrages me that they managed to miss the first half of this song, my favourite from the boxset at the time. The one and only time they perform it and its half missed.
