I've always enjoyed this one. Does anyone know if it was performed after the TD tour(except Bristol and Udine)?

Totally random find but this was my request ( I mean I had that song requested signs at few spots front row)

I loved Bristol show

Thanks alot for requesting the song!! I'm very happy that he took your request.

What an awesome show, We Got It Going on kept me hooked although I never really enjoyed listening to it, at least the studio version. Also the acoustic part was awesome! They even performed The Last Night which is my favorite track from LH.
Gosh...can't believe what a huge difference 5 years can make.

The entire front row held up lyric sheets for him and one woman turned her's down just when he arrived at that passage of the song. Hence him flipping her the finger :D

I think at that time Jon envisioned his band expanding to something like his own little E-Street ensemble. Plus HAND had been Shanks first record, which lead to a wall of sound, which lead to him trying to replicate that by hiring more musiciands for the live shows. I can't remember it making any difference though - bar his short solo on Treat Her Right you didn't notice him being there at all.

Jeff was there from 2003 in the TLFR show, then in 2004 on the Box set show and then dod the entire HAND tour with the band in 2005/2006. After that he left, Bobby stayed....

Thx for the info, I never noticed him on the TLFR show but then again :D I didn't watch the whole thing because it was just to booring for me.
Do you have any other information on why he was hired to do a tour with the band? Did Jon get pissed at David's playing and considered him a liabilty?

David had that accident when he cut off his fingertips in 1999. It was a year before he could even start playing his way back -- maybe he wasn't 100% at that point.

I think they are talking about a specific HAND show

Yeah that timeline just wouldn't make sense. By the time Jeff joined the tour it was after Crush AND Bounce, he was more than fully healed by that point. I think I remember the official word was they wanted to fill out the sound, to me it was more about Jons own version of the E street band. I remember he came back for the fabled MTV Unplugged taping too and when Dave had to miss a show for the Tonys.

Remembering Because We Can Tour 2013

Wild Is The Wind (perfect ejecution)

I'm With You
(better than in the album)

Always
(good vocals performance)

HAND (Great guitars and powerful solo, Sambora paint a iconic image with his double telecaster)

Ill Be There For You
(Magic moment, and the guitar solo as the original song)

Keep The Faith (this is the real thing)

Good vocals, and great sounds of the band.

Rdkopper 10-05-2015 04:51 AM

That's actually a nice compilation. That I'm With You was great...

I guess you could remember the best of 2013 or the worst of 2013...

Yes. For me, the turning point came when Richie left the tour, then Jon did not look so secure, and his voice was broke on summer leg. Sometimes when he sings in acoustic, he can do good, but when it comes to a complete show it gets very difficult.

Lucas_Roli 10-05-2015 08:18 PM

What an awesome song. It should have been on the album.

Man, all those songs (apart from WAN) are really great! There were so many bad moments on the BWC tour that great moments such as these are severely overshadowed. A band sounding like this I'd be more than happy to see live again. Never gonna happen though. Ever.

Live and unplugged Prayer by Desmond Child (live 1992 radio)

The info of this video is
Quote:

PERFORMED AS WRITTEN! The well known Bon Jovi hit 'Living On A Prayer' was written by prolific songwriter & composer Desmond Child who back in '92 visited radio station CK105 in Flint Michigan for an interview with myself. He also brought with him a portable keyboard and agreed to perform live on my show. This is how Desmond originally envisaged the mood and pace of his song, and perhaps like me you'll agree that it's way more impactive as a ballad than a rocker! Desmond's also a damn fine singer too!
For one more time, it makes me think about the real songwriters of BJ songs. What if everything was written by Desmond and Jon and Richie just took the half publishing, for copyright reasons? Same thought about IML and Max Martin who was "just sitting in our room and we put his name"

What implications about Desmond singing this song would lead you to draw that conclusion? Or is this just a general statement?

What are the key components to give someone credits to a song? What if... Jon and Richie came up with the title and the medley and Desmond wrote the lyrics and the hooks? Is Desmond the real hero? And should Jon and Richie be discredited because they didn't write one lyric? Or is Jon and Richie the real hero's because the title and melody are the key components to the song and anyone could have slapped in lyrics???

I'm not saying that any of this is true or the way it went down, just a hypothetical...

My overall point is, it really doesn't matter who did what... These two artists worked together and formed a chemistry. Things in life sometimes happen for a reason. If it wasn't for them getting together, this song would not have been born... or maybe if it was and another artist sang it their own way, it wouldn't have been as massive. Although Desmond's version is great and he does a nice rendition, if he released this on his own back in 1986, it would have done no better than 'Nothing' did on Have A Nice Day!!!!

Jon was really into this song. This is the way he should deliver new songs.

jon-flp 10-12-2015 08:43 AM

Oh man, Richie was not ok on this perfomance of "These Days" on Sidney 2010.

After made a mistake in the intro (OMG, in the intro!!!), he just ****ed up the bridge!! Was really embarrassing...and someone could identify what Jon says to him?? I think that it was "This! This!", but I'm not sure. In the 3:40.

He said "C! C!". I was there, but was so stoked about hearing These Days I didn't even notice Richie's screw up(s).

bonjovi90 10-12-2015 05:55 PM

Bounce performing We Don't Run:

Unfortunately the vocals aren't audible that well since the filmer was standing right in front of the stage and the monitors were hanging right in front of her, making it it sound way better three or four rows back.

Always Giants 2006. I truly believe with the state of Jon's voice they should give this version a shot again. It's not straight TLFR, but the melody is the same. I know some people hate it but I kind of like it....

It's the only TLFR-styled song besides Blaze of Glory that I liked on the HAND tour.

Cool interview footage from '85...

It shows Jon doing press with Diane Lane next to him...

Also some unreleased titles are mentioned:

Danger Zone
Afraid Of The Night (could be hardest part of the night)

7048 was the intended title.
