Milton Keynes was awesome. Walk This Way, Richie's solo at the end part, is fabulous.

Richie Sambora - Live IMT Show, Australia 1998 What a nice surprise to find a pro-shot video from the Undiscovered Soul tour. I wish I had a chance to hear this song live... |
Another great video

I'm a bit drunk now (here in Finland the age restriction for alcohol is 18 years), so I guess this gig kicks even more ass for me than usually:
https://youtu.be/FGaNnTvxUyE Bloody hell, that setlist... sure, there's no Dry County, Always, These Days or Hey God, but: * Wild In The Streets * In These Arms * I'll Be There For You (Richie) * Saturday Night (I happen to LOVE the acoustic version as well) * Never Say Goodbye * Blaze Of Glory * Blood On Blood I miss those times a lot. A LOT. PS. Jon's voice was already great back in late January '08 as well! :D It's incredible how fast he started to improve range- and power-wise after the sad event that was the TV broadcast from Tokyo earlier that month. I guess he could've even nailed Always in Australia already, but for some reason we had to wait until April... |

And walk this way ! I was at the gig ... got the cd .... but only 9 tracks on it . Can't even find the full set list |
Quote:
Yeah I found it thanks Why does cd only have 9 songs? The 1993 show (which I was at) is on there in full but no video footage. Shame. |
That's my favorite I Believe version (First song of video). I think it's from Milton Keynes. The clips put together for I Believe also is very good. |

Not the best quality, but does seem to be the full Milton Keynes '89 set as posted above by Bonjovi90!v

yes exactly how I felt about the solo in next 100 years. And the "nananana " just before rends the whole thing not enjoyable. If it was without "nananana" I'd give it a pass. |
****!!! The Circle Tour was great
|
Haha you beat me to it :D Jon was really on fire there, one of my favourite Damned performances!
|
Damned is such a scorcher live

Oh, a full dream, Richie Sambora returns to the band. |
Quote:
That performance of Damned is natural... It's a musician being sucked into a performance and letting go... Jon is now a guy covering his own music and trying to make it sound as close to what it once was as possible... Unfortunately, that stuff can't be faked. It's always fun attending concerts but if you're into collecting live shows, these times are depressing...Everytime I hear Jon say, 'Someone Take Me To The C' I want to throw up... I wish they would just axe that intro and go right into the three count... Anyway.... I hope Jon does figure it out because something is just not adding up... The fact that Jon can't mutter the words 'Is There A Doctor In The House' without it sounding like baby talk however, he can go belt out a power ballad like Bed Of Rose three songs later is freaking mind boggling... https://s31.postimg.cc/n1vm6wrl7/pucca_enojada.gif Derek Shulman (former A&R vice president at Mercury who signed the band) Shulman saw Sambora at the event and thinks the famed guitarist will rejoin the band. “I smell something,” says Shulman. “And they should [reunite],” despite numerous issues that led to a five-year separation. “I have a feeling it's going to happen.” But not just yet. Sambora and Orianthi have their RSO album due out this week, and Bon Jovi has a tour to finish. |

I'm with Derek Shulman. I've believed that all along. I still haven't given up on the idea that this is one of the reasons Irving Azoff was brought on board. He ain't the Miracle Manager for nuthin'. I guess time will tell; but it's nice to know that someone who actually knows them believes it, too! Do you have a link to the quote from Shulman? I've been trying to keep track of him ever since I read somewhere that he and Richie were together for dinner or something in NYC. I know dinner isn't breaking news but it was still enough to make me go "hmmmm..." I probably wouldn't have thought too much about it had it not been right around the same time that Richie was also getting involved with Doc McGhee and Bob Rock; and I thought it was interesting that all these guys from the early days were crawling out of the woodwork at the same time. That's just the way my inner conspiracy theorist connects dots. It may mean nothing at all; but I'm still curious about what led Shulman to make the comment. Especially since Ori's making noise about a solo project coming out around the end of the year and Phil-X is tweeting about finishing up the Drills' album this summer and hoping to take it to Europe soon after it's finished. (Or at least that's what a friend who follows that stuff on social media tells me.) |

A high quality YouTube of the Rock And Roll Of Fame performance (at least until the HBO Copyright Strike Force shows up)
Which was anticipated, LOL -- click here! |

The HBO broadcast was heavily edited, including Jon's vocals and thus is somewhat enjoyable. |

Looks like HBO is repeating it quite a lot so I’m recording the airing at 5:30 pm today.
