One of Phil'x finest moments. Great to see Jon and Hugh smiling at each other when pulls the intro off.
Was there and it was actually just the way I had always envisioned Wild Is The Wind to be in a live setting. |

Johnny still talking about Richie’s guitar? Sao Paulo 80,000 people? Rio 100,000 plus people? you have to admit these jokes are better than my jokes >_< jajaja |

I've known IDFY from Tokyo 2008 for a long time but never really listened to it all. This time I decided to listen to it and sounds better than I thought vocally and instrumentally. (Read this in Jon's voice like the Runaway timewarp intro. I realized it works after typing it all.)
By the way Jon hitting that C#5 before solo in KTF 2015 Singapore sounded like a grandfather hitting his toe on a wall or something. |
Oh god that show was a mess.

Then you should read these guys on this board, included overanalyzing Phil X’s interview and Ori’s situation So you just bring Richie back and we ALL are not bored anymore! -_- |

Step into my time machine, it's Tokyo 2002!
https://youtu.be/5-mvdnN0CBs The first chorus of KTF is probably the first occasion where we can see Jon grip the mic stand like he does on many (if not most) songs nowadays, so I guess that even in the early 2000s he already had to strain more on the high notes than it sounds like judging by his actual voice. However, as a whole it's an epic gig - both Jon and Richie are on absolute fire. And as a drummer, I gotta give Tico some props again. What a beast he has always been, and still is. |

indeed I miss the maracas in this KTF >_< lol, but I don't need maracas in jungle noises like Bush Empire... -_- hihi JBJ LOVES Undivided but he only plays that one now by request... I think he is his own diehard... lol (AND he has all the material included the usb's with video of everyshow everynight!) |

In english class in school we watched the 1986 movie "Stand By Me". I think we are between the beginning and middle of film to watch it fully next Thursday before summer vacation starts.
I can really see how Jon got inspired to write/make Blood On Blood. The movie is very good if anyone wanna know. Makes me want to have friendships like the movie and not like nowadays with too much technology. |

Don't understand why this didn't get played more in 2010. Jon & the band nailed it when it was played. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk |

Roulette Only Lonely Shot Through The Heart Get Ready Let It Rock I still watch them to this day. Odd dodgy part on one or two but certainly nothing embarrassing. Jon and the band actually look like they really enjoyed performing them too so I don't quite get why they got stopped. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk |

I think they got dropped because the songs didn't get any reaction from the US crowds. Would've probably been much different if the tour had kicked off in Europe. So the stuff got replaced with the old and dragged LH / WLOL combo early on. The reception of these songs isn't better, but Jon likes to play them and he gets the easy cheers with the "Do we got it anymore?" part in WLOL. |

When I listen to audience recordings, it's very obvious. You might hear the first line but then it goes silent until the chorus. Sure there are a few exceptions but overall global comparisons, I agree with Jon 100% |

That Roulette sucks! (The verses especially, chorus is a little better, Richie is okay)
I didn’t like these songs live 2010..., but at moments they bring me some memories of what BJ was... and enjoyed them a little! -_- Remember this: “Dublin expect greatness. They don’t accept any nonsense. It’s always a great crowd. They love us as much as we love them.” -JBJ (talking about set list in WWWB book) |
