I was at this show in Philly and I remember loving it. Though if I recall the Philly show from 2003 was incredible - a great KTF and Diamond Ring (which was hardly ever played at that time).

I've been on a Have a Nice Day binge recently and thought I'd post a few great live versions:
HAND from Chicago in 2010 is the best I've heard: These outro vocals on Bells of Freedom from Atlantic City in 2006 are cool (was this the show just after Richie and Heather split up?): Wildflower - I'm probably the only one but I adore this song: I Am - can't understand why this wasn't played more often; Jon seems to handle the vocals relatively easily: Story of my Life is just cool (Jon looks so youthful in this video): |

HAND is by far and away the best collection of songs the band has released since the "comeback" with Crush. The modern influence on the guitar tones and the songwriting also still worked and fit the band. While I do quite enjoy Walls, there's no way that people who like that style (but not BJ in general) are gonna be all about Bon Jovi's take on it.
I Am is also a terrific song. That live version drags quite a bit, though - too slow. |

(But I gotta say I'm surprised that you underscored it with the only song, released by the current band, that was co-written by the AWOL band member formerly known as the lead guitarist of Bon Jovi. Interesting choice, to say the least!) :D |

Full HD broadcast of Tokyo 2008:
https://youtu.be/5YcjS1F0eqo I know this show got a lot of slack back in the day (mostly because of Jon having been in a really rough vocal shape for the period as well as Richie struggling at times), but nowadays when we've gotten shows that were absolutely abysmal vocally, such as Brisbane 2013, iHeart 2018 and this year's Rock In Rio, can this be classified as a bad show in all honesty anymore? I don't think so. PS. The performance of Saturday Night was legendary in this show. |

But, besides the abysmal ending with ILTT and Captain Crash, the first half of the show was really nice there with a good flow and actually less staged than the MSG DVD. And I always smile when Richie's voice cracks at the "I still ride" in Wanted and Jon turns around like "dude, are you okay?" |
Dry County - Good version here with an ad-lib at the end. Sad how this band have declined in less than 10 years. |

A video I had thought about making for a long time and finally decided to go for it:

Is there a soundboard or good quality recording of the Any Other Day performance with Richie from the O2 in 2007? Preferably on Youtube. Only stuff I found was meh in terms of quality.

I had similar feeling when I saw the band at the HOF show, to see them together was very moving for me. Unfortunately the performace was far worse. |

Still don't get why Richie didn't use talkbox for IML and if that was the reason to exclude it from the official footage. |

God, look at that little nod Jon and Richie give each other at 1:21. |

Ohhh. Duh, yeah.
Honestly IML was the best performance of all of them. I don't think that the talk box had much to do with why it wasn't shown. |
