Setlist: 01. Keep The Faith [0:00] 02. Hey God [3:33] 03. Wanted Dead Or Alive [8:56] 04. This Ain't A Love Song [14:10] A shame they didn't choose that night for the recording since it blew the other two shows out of the water. |

This is pretty cool

btw Lorenza's voice stinks hihi |
And I Love This Town is not that bad Lol
Nah, it's all about Someday I'll Be Saturday Night!!! And Wanted and Keep The Faith... |
This is some of the unused footage from the Crush era (some small snippets of this appeared in the "On Tour with Bon Jovi" documentary on the Crush Tour DVD). This footage tape apparently appeared on the web in around 2000, so the quality is as comprised as it could get due to web standards back then. But this an interesting watch. Photo Shoot [0:00] In The Studio [9:41] Recording of It's My Life [12:17] Tico recording several drum parts [14:37] Richie recording Neurotica [16:18] Someday I'll Be Saturday Night (Webcast Concert) [18:28] It's My Life (Band only version ) [25:17] |

Great to watch, though. I remember seeing most, if not all of that before so was good to see it again. Back when we used to have different band members at the front of group photos and stuff too. I loved the 2000 era. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk |
São Paulo 2010 is such an underrated concert. I wish there was good recordings from this concert, Rio and Buenos Aires from the 2010 tour. |

I still can't believe I got to hear These Days live last summer:
https://youtu.be/UBVo_hw-aGs For that one song, I managed to forget/not care about Jon's vocal struggles, Shanks' dominance on stage, the feelingless solo by Phil and the crappy crowd that woke up twenty minutes until the end of the gig. I just watched my band play the song that I had been wanting to hear for so long, since 2011 at least, and when David started the intro, I couldn't help fighting back tears. No matter how shit Jon is as a singer nowadays, no matter how mediocre their new albums are (and how Shanks ruins them even further with his lifeless production), no matter how scripted and unimaginative their shows have gotten in general... for those 7 minutes, all was forgiven. Especially near the end of the song I got totally lost in the moment and saw the Jon from my childhood during the crowd singalong one more time, right there, working the masses in front of me. For that brief moment everything just felt right again. I ultimately ended up crying. PS. And if anyone comes to call me an overly sentimental little pussy for this, I say: have a nice day :D |

Rather mediocre sound quality, but this presumably marked the first time that the acoustic version of I'd Die For You and In These Arms as well as All I Want Is Everything, Something To Believe In and My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms were played live.
Setlist: 01. Marching Band Intro [0:00] 02. Lay Your Hands On Me [2:18] 03. Bad Medicine [6:59] 04. Hey God [12:06] 05. You Give Love A Bad Name [20:03] 06. All I Want Is Everything [23:50] 07. (It's Hard) Letting You Go [29:25] 08. Something To Believe In [35:55] 09. Blood On Blood [42:58] 10. Wanted Dead Or Alive (acoustic) [50:28] 11. I'd Die For You (acoustic) [55:52] 12. In These Arms (acoustic) [1:01:28] 13. Something For The Pain [1:06:35] 14. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night [1:12:08] 15. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead [1:19:50] ~ Jumpin' Jack Flash [1:26:45] 16. Keep The Faith [1:30:13] Encore 1: 17. Always [1:40:06] 18. These Days [1:47:46] Encore 2: 19. My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms [1:55:13] 20. Damned (cut) [2:02:20] |
Btw. anyone who isn't too keen on listening to this due to the sound and the maniac Japanese fans screaming - go to My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms! I'd say this may have actually been the most interesting live performance of it with Richie playing a really long outro which I can't recall him doing (at that length) during other These Days shows.

Thanks! Those woke me up from this!:

Setlist: 01. Love For Sale [0:33] 02. Midnight In Chelsea [5:44] 03. Livin' On A Prayer [14:13] 04. Destination Anywhere [19:50] 05. Blood Money [31:08] 06. Bed Of Roses [33:39] 07. These Days [39:39] 08. Janie Don't Take Your Love To Town [50:02] There are Q&A sessions after almost every song as well. Here's some further info from one of the attendees: "This was an interesting show. It was a fan club only $350.00 per ticket, limited to 300 guests party with a cash bar at a New Jersey country club. The evening began with dinner while the PA played 12 new tracks from an upcoming Jon solo band album. Guest were asked to fill out a questionaire about what they heard and the questionaires were collected after dinner. Dinner was a very nice catered affair. After dinner Jon and 4 other musicians took the tiny stage in the lower dining room to play a short concert along with taking a few requests and doing a "question and answer"session. After the concert the musicians got cocktails from the trunks of the limos as they left and Jon spent a couple of hours mingling with all the guests taking time to talk with all 300 folks and take pictures with all of them too." |
Nice one Dominik!
These Days from this show has always been one of my favourite performances of the song, but now that we have the whole recording I have to say the same thing for Blood Money too! Is this the only time Blood Money had been sung by Jon in the original key? Because those KTF/TD era performances were half step down, as were LH/TC ones. It was clearly a challenge for him to sing that even in 1998, but he did really well all things considered. |
