Just noticed there was 7 The Circle songs in the set list. Thats quite a few new songs in a set.

I wish they would have played Thorn In My Side, with the dual guitar jam at the end, every night of The Circle tour.

A remastering of Milton keynes 89 would be interesting.

Won't happen, it doesn't fall in the same category. At best the songs from the radio broadcast, but that's not really needed or interesting.

Oh yeah, I was there and it was awesome! The moment after Hungry Heart when he played the first notes of IBTFY, the whole place just erupted! I've never heard a crowd that loud at any Jovi concert.

Yeah, i was there too. Great memories and it was different because he was still in BJ.... Next time when he came in Munich it was disaster....

On the third of four nights that the band played Wembley Arena in London in 1988, they brought on an extraordinary line-up for a jam session! For the final two songs, Brian May, Rick Allen, Elton John and Lita Ford joined them on stage!

That was an amazing show - venues packed with us, diehard fans who knew thylyrics to his solo tracks. Richie looked in a great shape, sang well, played well and we all were happy that the difficult days are gone. Only to learn that even worse days are about to come a few months later :(
The only song I really missed was Seven Years Gone, fortunately, I got that two years later.

This violin on Forgiveness Street is great too. The whole Aftermath era had so much great stuff that we never got to see...

The Aftermath era was before Orianthi. Orianthi became part of Richie's band in 2014.

Captain_jovi 03-19-2020 03:09 PM

I'm pretty shire this was 2013, there were rumours of an Aftermath re-release but I can't recall if it was pre or post the split. I THINK after?

I think it was in the fall of 2013 after it had become clear that Richie wasn't gonna return to Bon Jovi in the then-near future and around the time his tour dates for 2014 came up?

rolo_tomachi 03-19-2020 10:13 PM

Killer performance... Sambora guitar solo is powerful.

I was talking in general, 'cause there is also more material of RSO and of course I would prefer to hear only RS tracks.

I will never understand how did not release a live album from this tour.

Captain_jovi 03-20-2020 03:54 AM

Jbj on access all the areas says they are recording for a double live album. Maybe as band took a break after they binned that idea.
