I like the Prudential intros because each member of the band gets their own intro.

Yvonne 11-18-2007 12:57 AM

i liked that clip as i thought it was pretty clever how they've merged the songs :)

Has anyone found a clip of Jon singing IBTFY at the Pru yet? I know this has been asked before, but if anyone posted a link, I missed it. I've been searching, too . . . and NOTHING! I can't believe no one got this. Please, say it ain't so.

Yvonne 11-18-2007 02:38 AM

I know! I would like to see/hear that too! Well, there were a few who hinted they'd heard a recording of it, but when asked, they did not offer up a link or anything........ maybe they were teasing. I would like to know how it came out actually.

I really don't understand why Richie lets him.\
I mean Richie just has to ask Tico and Bobby is incapable of holding a guitar....

schlochty 11-19-2007 09:14 PM

I like the Jon and Richie in the audience thing, but they really shouldnt let Bobby play the solo.
Also, i would like if it was just Jon and Richie and two accoustic guitars out in the audience doing an accoustic version of IBTFY, just not the crappy TLFR version...

wow that is actually really good....well the singing.

i am not liking the booby solo or violin....but the singing is nice.

Emil 11-19-2007 09:28 PM

A pretty rare performance of If I Was Your Mother. Sounds pretty good. Jon does struggle with the high notes, though.

These Days from a few days ago in Ottawa:

Dawn 11-20-2007 02:05 AM

LOP from Ottawa 17th

Wrath Mania 11-20-2007 04:57 AM

It's pretty obvious Bobby has to play the solo because Richie is out in the crowd with Jon, and since Richie doesn't use wireless he has to go with acoustic.

aph01 11-20-2007 02:47 PM

I kno wthis has been posted before, but I have to say it is without a doubt the best vocal JBJ has ever produced live bar none!! UNBELIEVEABLE. Sorta sad when you hear his voice now, but eh!!

I dont agree with this one, as Jon voice sounds untrained here , he is still screaming not singing, there is no way he or anyone could keep screaming like this instead oaf actual singing.

Us europeans certainly do know those songs. :)

BUT, if more TD songs were played live on a regular basis, even more people would know these songs....

Btw, great, great post 2000 performance...

Alright, this one is quite rarity. When JBJ came to Brazil in '97 to promote Destination Anywhere he made lots of tv shows and some pocket shows too, but the unusual part is that he even had a small role in a famous brazilian soap opera called "Malhação". There's a clip of it here:
