i have been out of the loop for a while and i have a question. why is bon jovi adding backing musicians on stage with them? after all these years why?

because they sounded crap on the bounce tour, couldnt play the new songs right because they were overproduced...

To put pressure on Richie and Dave... they are the next to go... very soon it will be: Jon Bon Jovi and Friends.

My guess is that they thought it worked out very good when the used Bobby and Jeff at the Borgata-shows (TLFR and box-set) and just thought it would be a nice change for the stadium tour. And, of course, an extra keyboard and guitar adds something to the sound.

i can see them doing that for TLFR , but not for this tour or any others for that matter. this is something i personally dont care too much for. when seeing bon jovi there is only 1 person, besides john every now and then, playing guitar, and thats richie. i bought an REM live video a while back, dont ask me why. and they had several additional musicians which i can see why they did, but not bon jovi. well thats my 2 cents anyway.

bon jovi just have it because jon is sick of the same faces on he road and wanted to liven things up with mr cool bobby banderia cos we all know his stage presence

There's no reason why they keep Bobby and Jeff on the stage... The most important thing is that they realise to leave them home when the next tour starts.
