I just saw the video and really liked it!

I think the Everyday video was better... :roll:

And this single is not my favorite. They have a lot of better singles on this record... :?

I'm a big fan since 1987, but this is not my thing really ... :) The Bounce as a record is GREAT! :D

Yea, I know I'm going to get jumped on for this one, but, I think this was one of the worst choices Bon Jovi has ever made. To make Misunderstood a single is just not right. It is better than a ballad though. I would have liked to see The Right Side of Wrong, Undivided, or Bounce as the second single. I'm just glad BOUNCE is going to be the third single. Misunderstood is not going to do well in the Money-Making business. Nor, will it attract new fans, like IML or Everyday. This won't help the sales of the record either. But this is my opinion. The video is great, I think it has potential to do well, but, today's music is taking over, therefore it won't get much airplay, just like Everyday.

I think it may do well, but it's really anyone's guess with today's charts, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Some info regarding the single in Australia- it's going to be released on the 29th November and is just starting to receive airplay, so fingers crossed that it will do well.

Although I don't think Misunderstood was the best choice for a second single, I do think it will do well because of the video. I find the video to be quite funny and I think a lot of people will like it. The song's chorus is very catchy and people will remember it. I'm not too sure how well it will do on the radio (I rarely even hear Everyday), but it will do well on video channels.

It's not their worst choice for a single.Say it isn't so was the worst choice.
in fact I think missunderstood has real potential to bacoming a moderate hit.I think it's catchy and poppy enough to get stuck in peoples head after the first listen,and the video is good enough and funny enough to become popular too. Hey if someone was to look for Bounce because of the missunderstood video they will be asking for the cd with that song with the funny video.

It wont become a huge hit but it could become a moderate or a minor hit.

I think the single Misunderstood is pretty good, in fact I love the whole album! :D Amy

I think Misunderstood is very catchy. It grew on me. It is a light rocker like Goo Goo Dolls style. It might get airplay you never know. I know here in Aus the leading FM station is a sponser of the Rumba festival where they are the headline act so they will surely get airplay through that.

You know, they said it wasn't their decision, but the record company's. Sometimes the record company has some good ideas--like the Greatest Hits package that is now pushing 20 million in sales. I LOVE the song. It's one that took me aback at first, but the more I listen to it, the more I want to listen to it. With Everyday, I loved it at first and then got bored with it quickly. I think Misunderstood holds up better--just my opinion, so I think it's a better single than Everyday. It really doesn't matter what any of us think though. The key to it being a big single is airplay--at least in the USA.

I don't get why people don't think Misunderstood would do well. It sounds like a hit, it is so catchy and with the radio hits of today, it fits. It is a much better choice than Everyday in my opinion...it didn't take off at all. The first time I heard Everday, I thought it was okay, not one of my favorite Jovi songs, but the first time I heard Misunderstood, damn, how can you deny that chorus? Also, everyone I have played the album for likes Misunderstood, especially non-fans. I think it will do well, all it needs is airplay.
