Why does this site have so many damn pop-ups?
 

I don't get it - This website is the ONLY website I go on, that has any pop-ups at all. Every time I come on here, or refresh the page, I get anywhere from 1 to 10 pop-ups. How do I stop that?

Well many of us have said we would donate if we could, originally through threat of the site closing but I bet many would if it meant less or no advert, and perhaps some sort of extras.

Alternately Firefox has a plugin called Adblock where you can block specific scripts and such.

just get a pop up blocker

That's the strange thing - I have one. A buddy of mine is a computer programmer and he cleaned up my computer and out all sorts of good stuff on here to make it run faster, block out ads, so forth. Works on every site except for this one.

I just have mozilla, and I never have any pop-ups (as Thomas said adblock included), no other pop-upkiller needed
