Request for computer information
Hey all, got a question for you. I've been assigned to do a report on "ghosting" or "cloning" software for my advanced troubleshooting class, and given that the teacher is...well, who she is, no teaching on the subject has occurred. Can anybody recommend one or two programs?
Thanks in advance, Adrian |
Norton Ghost is the program I use at work. 'Ghosting' is a term derived from Norton, there's actually no such thing (you know, like everyone calls it a 'Hoover' when thats just the make, it's really a Vacuum, or people call it a 'Biro' but it's really a Ballpoint pen etc.)
It's pretty simple to use, you can probably download it somewhere. You can create a boot floppy disk using the wizard then using that it boots up and loads into a very simple GUI with step by step instructions. Hope that helps. |
Anything else besides Norton Ghost? That's the one we're using now. Thanks,

Well there's Clone DVD which will back up any uncopyrighted DVD.

Thanks all. I finished the assignment. I'll see how well I did when I hand it in tonight.
