I was shocked to hear this too. I didnt realise he had cancer. So sad to see someone go at such a young age. RIP Paul.

oh god thats awful i cant believe it. last i heard he was getting better just looked over at the tv and they are talking about it. terrible

OMG only 27 years old - that is really awful. I didn't know him but I hate to see someone that young die from cancer.

yeah me too, i knew someone who died from liver and bowl cancer and she was only 29

I don't follow snooker too closely, but I have to say that it is a tragic loss. RIP Paul Hunter.

I watched him quite a bit before he was ill and IMO he was def going to be a big star in snooker.
