Forum upgrades

Forum software has been updates to the latest version.
Some things will probably look different, some things might not work.

If anything doesn't work, please let me know about it in this thread.

gazthomas 10-21-2006 11:01 PM

Kev 10-21-2006 11:57 PM

Peter, if you click the 'Quick reply' button, it automatically takes you into a 'Normal post reply' window with the quote of the last post in a particular thread.

Peter, I did mention this in the mod-forum, but I'd just like to enquire about it here to, incase it was missed.

Is there any way that we can have a 'Reply' button in our PM's, rather then only 'Quote' and 'Forward' buttons?

Thanks.

Aaaaah nostalgia, I remember the board when it was part of the main site about 5 years ago now ....

I must be one of the "elder statesmen" of the board, that's quite scary

MrIks from Finland 10-27-2006 08:36 PM

My screen is too depressing, can you do something about it?

what.... I know your the one .. but do you have to talk in that digital language to us mere mortals...

Are you trying to say that the messages disappear because they are to old ? That doesnt make sense , as people are able to bring threads back from yrs ago.

Sorry :p I was just trying to show you how to change your options. You can set it to display only threads that were posted in during the past week, month, year etc

Thomas Anderson 11-07-2006 03:59 AM

Click 'Post Reply' instead of just using the Quick Reply, and if you have your User CP set to display advanced mode you should see the basic smilies, and a link to show a lot more on a popup page.
