Blood On Blood TLFR live in Borgata...?

This might sound stupid...but I have had some free time...
Is Blood On Blood playback on TLFR dvd? I have noticed that when Jon sings the chorus his voice and lips don't match... You can see it from the big screens on the stage... According to his lips he just sings "Blood On Blod" but when you watch the screen he obviously sings "Blood On Blooooood". There are no problems with any other part of the song or in any other song.... Only that...
And while in the subject, in Live In London dvd you can hear Jon shouting "Richie" before some guitar solo but Jon's mouth is closed and microphone is far away from his mouth...?
And in the Crush Tour Live you can hear Jon saying "thank you" after I'll Be There For You if I remember right but he really doesn't say anything, just walking away or something...?
What are these all about... they have caught my attention..?
Are there just some problems with recording or edition and stuff?

Well both the Live in London Dvd and the TLFR dvd are put together from 2/3 shows mixed into 1... so to answer what you mentioned it is likely that you could have been viewing the footage from one night but watching the performance from the 2nd.... thats the obvious answer i think....

Well thanks, any suggestion is wellcome. I just wanna get some sleep. It would be sad to think that guys who sing about "last man standing", "a band that really plays" and "know this boy don't lipsynch" would really lipsynch...:(

Well, I was there at the Borgata and Blood On Blood was as LIVE as it could be. Seems to be some editing on the dvd that would have been done by Tony Bongiovi.

Yeah - I was there live also and it was sung just fine. I remember a discussion after the DVD came out about the editing of the audio/video synch being pretty poor. I think Blood on Blood is the worst of it. In my opinion, there is no excuse for that. A little more time and care should be taken. The way I heard it was that the record company was in tearing hurry to get it out so it's possible the production was rushed.

Yep, I had talked to Tony after it was filmed and he said the deadline to get the dvd finished was very tight. What's wild is you know that this dvd won a technical award, lol! But, I agree, the editing on Blood On Blood is terrible which was a surprise since Tony is such a perfectionist.

I love TLFR - and I have a lot of respect for Tony's work
But I've seen the webcast- the live feed from the first night, and I like it better than the DVD
IMO some of the cuts on the DVD (as opposed to the shots from the webcast) aren't that good
besides all the good parts of the jokes were cut out of place and put at the end- and there are a few good parts that simply aren't on the DVD

I agree. Friday night's show had an awesome jam by Richie and Dave. I wish they would have left that in. And the version of Bad Name was better on Friday night and they used the version from Saturday night which was strange.
