Songs from the "Grey summer" era
 

I'm looking to make a playlist of songs from this time in Jon's life he always talks about and cannot seem to remember which songs were written in this summer. I know he's mentioned Bed of Roses, Miss Fourth of July and Radio saved my life tonight. Am I missing any mentioned in interviews?

Dry County comes to my mind immediately.

The Soul Truth was another one. I've never heard an exceptionally good bootleg of it though.

That can't be right. That was written on an island with Richie and Desmond around '93ish. Grey Summer was between Blaze and KTF.

Well that was written in some sad moment at least, maybe not the one you are referring to but still. I don't mind if you count that as one:)

I was considering that the other day. I was trying to pinpoint, in my head of course, where it really came together for Jon. Not that the 80's stuff was crap lyrically, but I was thinking either Blaze or the Grey Summer did the songs really just start meaning something.
