This is the 2nd time I've run across an article saying that Jon will perform. The first one was completely in alphabetical order and left out Richie, but also left out Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts who are both nominated for EOTY.

CMA Awards
It's country music's night to celebrate on the "CMA Awards" from 8 to 11 on ABC. The awards move back to Nashville, the mecca of country music, after visiting New York last year. The "CMA Awards" was the highest-rated music awards show on television last year, beating out the Grammys.

Tonight is going to be a big night for Brooks & Dunn. They host the show for the third time and are tied for most nominations at six with Brad Paisley.

Those scheduled to perform include Jon Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Sara Evans, Vince Gill, Kris Kristofferson, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Barbara Mandrell, Gretchen Wilson, George Strait, LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Paisley, Rascal Flatts and Kenny Chesney.

thanks Becky, will have to see if he sings.... Will be probably another 2 weeks before CMA's get here, I missed it last year as I was away , hope to see it this time.

Thanks for the link Becky. I'm taping the show tonight but don't have a 2nd VCR to make a copy. I'll gladly send you my tape if you can find a way to copy it.

It's not the same, but I believe Radio 2 will be doing a show from the awards tomorrow at 7pm.

Thanks, Deb! I hope my satellite won't go out, but I'm afraid it will. There are periodic downpours already so I'm sure if this keeps up my satellite will loose the signal! :(

I will have a digital copy from my satellite (not tape so it's much higher quality). If you folks are members of Seb's file sharing forum it will be shared there - probably posted as a bit torrent download.

If I don't get shot I can post the link here LOL.
