Prayer - #1 song of the 1980's!!
 

Not sure if I'm missing this on here, but all this past week, there was a countdown of the 100 songs of the 1980's on VH1. It concluded last night. The #1 song was Livin' On A Prayer.

Pretty cool.

Yep, I think I read where LOAP got 44,000 votes. It was cool seeing all those videos again.

This was a new countdown of the 100 greatest songs from the 80's and it was compiled all from an online poll.

I know. But it's like, everything they do has to do with 80's.
And for a decade that's been long gone, they are sure making $$$$ and ranking in the ratings.
Or so I seem to think that I thought of it earlier of today, when I thought about that.

The funny thing is that they did a countdown of the "100 Greatest Songs of the Last 25 Years" and Prayer was #26 - and most of the songs that beat it were from the 80s.

Yea, just goes to show how public vote versus industry vote, changes the rankings.

I still have yet to see this.... but i'm not worried. I'm sure VH1 will air it at least a few more times :lol:
