Ride Cowboy Ride

credited to "King of Swing"... But who... or what... wrote this song? WHat's the story here?

Captain Kidd and The King of Swing are Jon and Richie.

yeah right.....

Jon & Richie were so screwed up at the end of the 80's that they needed ghost-writers/musician to finish of the NJ album, Captain Kidd & The King of Swing did finish of that album...... like milli vanilli all over again...

Captain Kidd is a nickname given to Jon by Kerrang! magazine back when he wore shades, a hat and the flag as part of his stage clothes. They said he looked like "Captain Kidd."

Richie earned the nickname King of Swing by being a man-ho. ;) It could just as easily be "King of Conquests" except that it doesn't have the same ring.

I remember that I thougth this was a cover tune, and I liked it so much that I went to the record store to ask if they had any cd's by Captain Kidd and The King of Swing, and they had no ****ing idea what I was talking about.
Hey this was back in '95 so I was about 9 or 10, that's my excuse, lol.

Is Richie also the "king of swing" referenced in Let It Rock?
