Weird Thought
 

This week I was driving in my car, listening to Bon Jovi (no surprise here) and heard the line "every dog will have his day" in Santa Fe. It got me thinking about "Always" and the line about old feelings that this dog kicked about. Then there is that strange video with the man dressed like a dog. There is also the verse about like a blind dog without a bone in the song Who Says You Can't Go Home. In all of these years, I never thought that Bon Jovi sings a lot about dogs. I think there are even more songs? Anyone know what is up with that? Weird Thought.

We could mix it up with some of the other things which keep appearing and end up with Superman taking his dog for a walk on a train.

nah actually , it comes from the writers point of view i think its just how jon pictures himself when hes been kicked out (like a dog ) you know and all that stuff. im sure if you look at artist like axl rose youll find the same stuff there

mmmhmm. Prostitution, God, trains and dogs are what seems to come up the most with Jon's writing style.

Blood. Jon writes a lot of lyrics about blood and bleeding. Roses/flowers are in a lot of his imagry too.
