Richies greatest guitar era

We've had lots of threads debating about when was Jons best vocal/voice era
(Fave vocal preformances from diffrent concerts).

Well what about Richie!

.Which Eras was the "King Of Swing" at his (Consistantly) best
.Fave - Live! Preformances

I'd include These Days in that, it is much better than Crush and it has it's moments (like Damned) but I wouldn't say it was consistently great all the way through guitarwise.

Stranger In This Town era!
The only time we've actuially seen how good Richie is on a whole album.

90s era was special, I reckon. Everything from Stranger up to Undiscovered Soul. I'd say that his guitar work became much more important and on stage he was awesome.

The Stranger in this town tour he did the guitar work is just excellent.

He kicks ass big time.

also the Crossroads and these days tour i loved his extended guitar solos. sadly Jon has put a stop to those these days!

apart from ill be there for you this last tour.

The guitar solos in the Live from London Tour are just fantastic. I wish he did that everyshow. i would rather have less songs each night to accomodate longer solos from richie.

I forgot to add the most of the early stuff he is great on. was watching some live stuff on you tube and he is great there. an evening with bon jovi he is great.

as someone else says anything after crush and the solos just die out. again apart from next 100 years:)

Richie hasnt got a greatest era because he is as good now as he was bakc then. He just dolesnt get to show it has much. What would you be asking is when was Bon Jovis greatest guitar period! Richiew if he wanted could still blow you out of ur seat if he really wanted/was given the proper chance to.

My fav Richie is the one on an Evening With Bon Jovi video... Everything he does there on electric, or acoustic is great and diverse, his vocals are perfect and his presence is brilliant, he seems to have so much cool fun in that performance. The 91-96 years he was at his peak imo. After that he sort of rested his case it seems, though it's probably linked to his will to come across as a song-writer more than "just" a guitarist.

Thing is he already was much more than "just" a guitarist to me...
