I think the conversation came up at the bar, when I said it was one of the best days of my life, and a tough contestant to my wedding day, which is when you quoted my sig, and told me I should put it back up. I think I replied something like "well, Jon was there first". Hih... What a strange conversation!

I think you'd had a few beers after those few beers that you remember :D

And Kathleen, yes it's a good job Tom doesn't have an ego problem, he just laughs it off and lets me get on with it. Although there have been a couple of times in the last few days when I'm sure he wished I could talk about something else... But he's happy for me, especially since he bought me the ticket for the HRC as a present, and wanted me and Taija to make the most of it.

HA! The last time I saw an advertisment for that in Liverpool, I was walking past a crime scene 30 or 40 metres long, going by the area that the police tape covered! The cop diverting us from the area confirmed this.

I actually found out what that was about. Some fella had been found dead that morning, he'd had blood coming from his face. Turns out he's had a massive heart attack and smashed his face when he collapsed. The police and forensics were there to investigate.

Yeah, I remember you scanning the morning news to try and find out something. It looked pretty serious going past it at the time, though. Too bad about the guy. :(
