Bon Jovi in RIO?
 

I have just read a interview with VIXEN in the German METAL HEART and they say they will open for Bon Jovi in Rio and they hope that the guys will come on stage to sing with them.
They seemd quite sure about the concert as the interviewer asked them about their future plans.

Are Bon Jovi going to play ROCK IN RIO? I think that's plausible. Doesn't it always take place in May? So it would be right after the release of Lost Highways and they announced anyway that they were going to play some festivals.

It seems....plausible. It's just their hesitance to play with other 80's bands.

Vixen played in Rio Grande Rock-n-Roar Bikefest in El Paso, Texas in October 2006 yet!

is anyone than Jan Kuehnemund in the band from the original line up? i think i read that she's the only one still in the band.

no idea. never liked them too much in the first place but in the interview they were talking about a lot of line-up changes and also about a change in style which is supposed to be quite pronounced.

That Rock In Rio that isn't on Rio, Brazil, anymore but Lisboa, Portugal? Rock In Rio Lisboa... ain't if funny? lol

They almost played in Rock In Rio (on Rio) in 2001, but cancelled due the Jon's Vampires movie...

I don't want to get my hopes up, but that would be just awesome!
