anyone wondering about christmas gifts...

f you find yourself asking what you should get someone or what you want forom santa maybe you're not desperately in need of anything really and could ask or give something from this cool site I came across:

http://www.oxfamunwrapped.com/

helping the world a little and feeling good > something that you don't really need.

my sister's getting a card with this one it for Christmas this year:

i thought long and hard about what to get you, you've got tonnes of perfume and books and stuff. i then realised the one thing you don't posses is a live goat so i asked santa to bring you one. unfrotunately the old drunkard sent Bob (the goat) to africa by mistake so a family there have decided to keep him. hope you don't mind

:-)

i want my own goat :'-(

...I love this idea.. Tried it last year with my kids...they were up for it until they realised they wouldn't actually get the goat!:D

i' d like to believe that the money actually ends up in poor countries but with ngos and their action i'm overall sceptical

it's oxfam...

as much as i dont believe 100% of that money is going to the good cause itself, i'd rather an organisation that is trying to help people get a little of my money and a bunch of africans do than the good folk at calvin klein or virgin records this year.,,
