Interview with Alec (yes, THAT one)

A discussion on another (non Bon Jovi) forum got me thinking about this. . . Does anyone have a copy of Alec's "tell all" interview? I've always heard about it but have never found a copy. I'd love to get a scan of it if someone has it.
Thanks!

I never saw it either and I'd love to read it - especially in the light of hindsight.

I've got it somewhere. I don't remember it being as "tell all" as legend has made it out to be. I'm sure someone else has it accessible to scan, so I'm not even going to attempt to dig it out. LOL

I'd be very interested in reading it too! Been searching the web for quite a while now and can't find anywhere...

I've got it in the loft somewhere but wouldn't know where to start scanning it, I'm not that computer literate. It wasn't that much of a big expose as he still thought he was in the band at the time and that he would be touring the These Days album. The only derogatory remarks he made really were that Jon was a control freak (Big shock there!) and that he told Alec he sucked all the time during recording. He said he couldn't be bothered recording anymore because of it but would still tour with them. (How wrong he was!) He also said plenty of good things about Jon and the band though, saying Jon had really matured and was singing better than ever.

If I remember rightly the article was in Kerrang! don't know if that helps in trying to find it.

I hadn't heard this version of why Alec was fired. Why would a band keep a member that "couldn't be bothered recording" but would tour? Makes no sense-surely your either in or out. I always thought he was fired because of his drug problems but maybe he was just not very good??? I remember a very old story about how the record company (Ithink) wanted to get rid of Alec early on - before SWW- because they didn't think he fitted with the image they wanted to create and Jon fought for him to stay, so it must have been a big decision to fire him in the end.

I remember Richie saying that Alec just didn't seem to have the same work ethic when it came to recording as the other guys. He wanted to just be able to show up and play a gig.

Source? New one to me. Nearest thing I can think of, is the Obie thing awhile back.

I've got the issue of RAW that the interview was in. I remember Alec looking really thin and generally rough in the pics.

The only quote I can clearly remember is alec saying "I would lie for Jon, and have done.."

If I can find it, I will type it out (No scanner).
