I've been meaning to post this for ages, but keep forgetting to. It was number 8, the top 20 are:

1: GnR - Appetite For Destruction
2: Metallica - Master Of Puppets
3: AC/DC - Back In Black
4: Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
5: Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
6: Iron Maiden - Number Of The Beast
7: Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks
8: Slippery
9: Slayer - Reign In Blood
10: Nirvana - Nevermind
11: Pantera - A Vulgar Display Of Power
12: Motorhead - No Sleep Til Hammersmith
13: Green Day - American Idiot
14: Ramones - Ramones
15: Metallica - Metallica
16: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
17: Van Halen - Van Halen
18: Judas Priest - British Steel
19: The Clash - London Calling
20: The Wildhearts - Earth vs. The Wildhearts

LOL, only just realised that there's 4 self titled albums in a row there, odd. Incidentally, New Jersey is listed as the 8th Greeatest Glam Metal album of all time.

If I get a chance, I'll scan and upload the Slippery page

hmm...I remember I have posted an older list by kerrang which ranks Slippery somewhere in the lower end of the top 30.

yeah i dunno what their criteria is which allows one album to be no.1 one year and no.20 the next or whatever.

But no.8 is impressive, they were no.40 or something last time! And Led Zeppelin IV not in top 20? Its usually no.1 in these polls

How does American Idiot deserve to be there?

Probably because it sold loads and is every female Kerrang!-reader's favourite "punk record".

excepting the "punk", many would argue Slippery is there for the same reason.

I doubt "Holiday" is gonna be a rock classic in 20 years. Wanted on the other hand... (and both were third singles!)
